The strong ones are modern innovations (in response to Belgium banning bars from selling spirits for much of the 20th century) but those aren't the type the monks drink themselves.

They can't. The contract generally says the price rise will be inflation plus a specified percent. Otherwise, eg if they raise call costs, they have to tell you that you can cancel penalty free - which I have done multiple times.

Everytime you open settings on a new apple device you get a artfully phrased reminder 'x number of days remaining to add applecare' and 'try your new trials'.

The accounting standards forbid expensing things that should be capitalised, and if you go ahead and do it anyway your investors will wonder why your accounts show you have no assets.

That assumes the TPM is willing to unseal the drive, so you can use a probe to capture the key as it sends it. Microsoft recommend using TPM+PIN which prevents this as the TPM won't release the key unless you provide the PIN. The PIN c

That would hopefully be caught by internal controls and internal audit but would be of relatively little interest to an external auditor like EY. The figures are small enough to be immaterial, meaning they don't significantly affect th

The disadvantage of not offering an API for iMessage is that there is no easy way to block clients. Apps like Bluebubbles have to work by being installed on an actual Mac and scraping messages from iMessage and Beeper uses a similar archite
