I really like C# and have done a bunch of work with it in the past! But I also love Python for reasons other than just static vs dynamic typing. To be honest, I think a lot of Python [or arbitrary dynamic language] developers can be quite s

You can pipe the diff into specific flake8 checkers. Disable the check by default so it's not run over the entire codebase, and have a separate line for running specific checks on just the diff. Eg: git diff -U0 --relative origin/

Adding type hints to Python has increased my productivity by at least a factor of 10. They allow you to reason about code in a local function without having to track back up dozens of call sites to ensure you're getting what you thin

Then would a better interview technique be something like - here is a spec for an algorithm. Now implement it. I see very little value in having people studying algorithm implementations for interviews. Of course, knowing about specific alg

Both heroku and travisci were affected? I wonder if and what the common vector would be for two major providers to lose their OAuth tokens.

You can't think of a single good use case for a tool like this? Consider receiving a bunch of hate-tweets based on some physical aspect of your appearance.

Has anyone used this library before? It looks very very nice. Type safe templates would almost be a win on their own, but being able to use the full power of react to customise views and forms without all of the ceremony of buying into the

Yep great observation. I started my first FromSoft game last week - Demons Souls remake - and I had no idea what was going on. Making very little progress and restarting levels over and over. So I decided to follow a guide and the game has

Are you talking about Australia Post? If so, the numbers I’m finding are $27-$28/h part time gigs that include leave etc. Are you seeing different numbers or have I got the wrong company?

I’m not confused and I don’t really understand why you think I am. I believe the content that is indexed is the content you can see. Sites used to be penalised, heavily, for returning different content to google. Hiding the paywall for goog

Then search engine crawlers should get paywalled too. The motivation is correct. You run a search on google and get mostly paywalled content. I'm fine with news sites requiring subscriptions to view their articles but they shouldn'

Are you talking about the Kogan-clone that took over the online store about 5 or 6 years ago, or prior to that? The online part of the business was sold off to Kogan and became another online store front.

There are pros and cons. As one example my son purchased $500 of skins in Fortnite on Nintendo (I had the card saved, my fault since corrected). Trying to get that refunded was a huge drama because I had to go via Nintendo rather than Epic.
