If it is anything like the Rock64, it will also be unstable, negating much of the benefit.

I don't think I understand the 20xx part of that assertion. Should this imply that 21xx or 22xx would be creditworthy? Maybe it should be something like "202[3-9]"?

I think the same way. It is too bad that the protocol is being mismanaged by its creators.

Supposedly the “plaid” drivetrain for Model S will up the battery size again. I could see both vehicles seeing upgrades along these lines next year.

My point is that 300 KW is ~400 HP. I can't imagine that these trucks are always stopping vastly more quickly than they accelerate, so this ought to be able to enough to get the majority of the energy, especially taking into account th

The Tesla Model 3 can charge at up to 250 KW on a 75KWh battery. That does drop significantly at higher charge levels, but the battery in a van like this should also be significantly higher and the period of time required is significantly s

I've used them once in Florida. I've noticed that they do not seem to have as many locations here as they used to, though.

Sure, but there were hints of that during the semi and roadster unveiling too. 200KWh in a car smaller than a 3? Almost 1 MWh in a semi costing less than 200k? The CT was always going to be built at either NV or a new factory. All new facto

I'm not calling Tesla vaporware. They make the best EVs on the market and I do like them. Having said that, they have a bad habit of announcing products with _unbelievable_ specs that are just a little too good to be true and then dela

But will the Cybertruck actually be produced by the end of 2021 or were the battery requirements too high for the spec and price point?

Its right after the roadster and semi are in full production. They are scheduled for ~4 years after their announcement if they don't get pushed back again. I see no reason to believe this is less of a hype followed by vaporware.

You are absolutely correct. I have no idea when this site became this way, but a lot of the responses here are disappointing. I can easily close my garage door from well outside of sight range with the regular remote. I can set the wifi one

I think that you will find your opinions much easier to get across to a developer if delivered in terms that are much less aggressive. Anyone doing actual work will find your approach rude at best.

I'm happy to see this. There is a lot of potential for new growth in this sector and woefully insufficient ongoing investment. It seems like a tremendous opportunity for them.

I'd need a citation, as I do not know what "a lot" is in this context. Greater than 0 is a "lot" in a sense, but I'd like to know if these are actually common.

This might be the best analysis that I've seen of the present situation and really puts the May 18th date into context. I had wondered how that was bandied about and why it seemed to come from someone else than the shutdown order. It s

Literally noone is saying "go back to normal". If the goal was to get it to burn out, the initial statement should have been "we need to isolate until it burns out". That was not the initial sell to the public.

"Flatten the curve" != "wait until the epidemic burns out" The fact that the rhetoric started with one and ended with the other makes the whole process feel dishonest.
