It is telling. The Tesla fan reddit has 824k subscribers. The BMW reddit? 163k. Audi? 91k. Tesla attracts a vastly more active audience than most other automakers, and the results are interesting. One should be REALLY cautious about drawing

It doesn't take millions, it just takes a willingness to hold down the accelerator as an override.

I've driven a car with lane keep that worked like this: 1. If the lane keep is on and there is no torque warn the driver. If the driver doesn't respond, get really aggressive, pulse the brakes and eventually stop in the middle of

The article says it is because of the fit of those masks. From what I've seen, most use ear loops and that isn't really acceptable.

It is an impressive vehicle, but its also vastly narrower than the Model S, and actually also narrower than the Model 3. Their efficiency "advantage" is likely just a function of these differences. A long Model 3 would beat it on

Now $500 is pretty cheap for a powerful smartphone. Are you saying that in a few 12 years, $80k will be pretty inexpensive for a car like this?

Noone cares about the current P/E ratio of a stock like this. The numbers that matter are gross margins, net margins, and growth. I have a lot of issues with the valuation based on those numbers as well, but P/E is one of the wors

There are different versions, and the price of each range level isn't yet announced. Noone knows what the $60k will have, but it isn't expected to be anywhere close to 500 miles.

Indeed, the old adage about people overestimating short term exponentials but underestimating long term exponentials remains true.

Could yours be stored or used in extreme heat frequently? Beyond that, it could just be a battery defect. Devices that last for multiple days should last for several years before seeing that kind of degradation.
