I've mostly used Ubuntu in the past & decided to try EndeavourOS and I don't think I'll go back. I've had a great experience with it.

It's not really what I would want on the desktop, but I did mess around with it a little and it's pretty interesting. Next time I need to set up a server for something I think I'll probably use it.

I can't recommend EndeavourOS enough. You get all the good parts of Arch with an easy to use graphical installer, XFCE or another DE + great Nvidia support out of the box.

Things are getting more serverlesss too. With Deno Deploy, Cloudflare Workers, etc I see myself eventually wanting to run most of my application on platforms like this, and a serverless & distributed database makes that much easier

Technically yes but just because they have a scheduled major release every 6 months doesn’t mean you’re going to see significant breaking changes. They’re not as conservative as Ember in that regard (still on 3.x!) but relative to React, Vu

This isn't really why most developers are choosing to use what they're choosing to use today, but in the long term the most granular serverless compute available is going to be running on V8 isolates, not containers. With JS (&

You might be interested in this if you weren't already aware of it https://blitzjs.com/ I've been using their superjson library with Remix & its pretty much solved all of my client/server type issues.

Angular is basically headed down the same path that Ember went down IMO. A stable & mature but declining framework. The same could ultimately happen to React as well. I'm working on a new project right now using Remix, which is gre

It’s unfortunate that the tax credits are as restrictive as they are. A large portion of eligible vehicles are going to end up manufactured in Mexico instead of the U.S. anyways, and it’s created an artificial barrier for Hyundai who is pro

A lack of knowledge about cooking is imo the single biggest cause of health issues in the United States. People generally know that real food is healthier, but it’s not convenient and they don’t know how to cook so it’s really not even an o

It really isn’t BS at all. I’m in Ohio and almost nobody I know under the age of 40 knows how to cook anything that doesn’t come out of a can or a box. “Prepared at home” in many cases is just warming up processed foods or combining a coupl

In many places it’s either not an option or not one that you’re going to find almost anywhere most people shop. As far as I know in my city the only place to find real bread is Whole Foods (where the inventory is limited and inconsistent) o
