Unfortunately I am forced to use macos (and windows) and work from time to time and yeah I can agree with the author. GNU/Linux (openSUSE with KDE Plasma desktop) definitely requires a lot less tinkering to get it to work and respect y

I would say KDE Plasma surpasses anything out there even closed proprietary alternatives. From time to time I have to use Windows and mac at work (to test on other platforms than GNU/Linux) and they are much worse when it comes to desk

One of the best gaming buys I have ever made. Hardly ever turn on Switch and PS5, gaming for me is about 80 % on Steam Deck these days. And thanks to it having full desktop mode with KDE Plasma I even use it for other work. So congrats Valv
