CADR Lisp Machine System Software 100 Released
- jbritton 4y agoI wondered if there were any CADR emulators to run this on. So I web searched and found this: https://lisp-machine.org/hacking-usim-a-mit-cadr-lisp-machine-emulator/ https://lisp-machine.org/hacking-usim-a-mit-cadr-lisp-machin...
- r9550684 4y agocompatible cadr emulator is available at https://tumbleweed.nu/r/usim/doc/trunk/README.md https://tumbleweed.nu/r/usim/doc/trunk/README.md and generally https://tumbleweed.nu/lm-3/ https://tumbleweed.nu/lm-3/ is the starting point. not for the faint of heart.
- anthk 4y agohttps://tumbleweed.nu/system-100-0-release/usim-2023-03-24.tar.gz https://tumbleweed.nu/system-100-0-release/usim-2023-03-24.t... That's is easy to compile and run.
- anthk 4y agoAny hint in order to have a smaller resolution? It's too bing in my netbook.
- r9550684 4y agoyou can patch all the different places where system assumes it's running against cpt monitor to be size independent, rebuild you can also get yourself a real window manager, like fvwm has FvwmScroll module, that lets you wrap any oversized x window in a container with scrollbars. you can patch tv.c on usim side to make window scroll up and down for you as you pan mouse around. the possibilities are endless.
