Take the good parts, discard the bad. And there are definitely both in this video. And even on this point, it's not all bad when you consider how design/architecture studios operate. I probably would've been better off as a

Congrats to them for front-paging this ;) I've heard some people say that most ICOs wouldn't stand a chance at getting VC funding. So, investors of HN, what say you of this one? To me, the first question is why does this need its

The ICO mania definitely contributes to this, but so does the worry about a Bitcoin split. I've read a lot about it and could not give you a coherent answer of what is likely to happen and what would be the impact if it does or does n

NYC anecdata: a couple years ago my girlfriend at the time split a $2700, 400sq ft 2 bedroom on a 7th floor (!) walkup in Chinatown. Unrelated, but she's an architect and pointed out illegal parts of nearly every residential building

Well, before my latest attempt to quit Twitter, it seemed like a widespread opinion among kool kids from both the left & right that liking DFW was middlebrow posing. Just my definitely skewed impression.

If anyone is daunted by Infinite Jest but undaunted by the fad of hating DFW, definitely start with his books of essays & journalism. IMO they're a lot more rewarding and enjoyable than his novels. I think E Unibus Pluram: Televi

A happy medium IMO is to give the function resulting from `partial` or `comp` a name in a let binding. If it takes one arg, great; if it doesn't then the #() form with the named fn inside still a little shorter & easier to parse.
