All of this stops the day Russia stops attacking Ukraine, it’s not like Russia is a helpless victim here. Edit: I agree there will be reverberating consequences. Criminals have to pay their debt to society. Russia is already deep in a hole.

I’m taking off my cynical goggles and giving this a round of applause. Even if I think Twitter could do more, this is a great move on their part.

With respect to games crashing, it's almost certainly not the architecture's fault. Far more likely is a system configuration or driver issue. I had more issues with my previous Intel build than my current Zen2 Ryzen (64 core TR).

What arguments are they bringing to the table, exactly? You seem to be quite keen that they can continue broadcasting lies while they invade a sovereign democratic nation. I wonder just what pushback against Russia you do support. It’s no

At a certain point we need to worry less about Russia's opinion regarding anything, and more about defanging them as a power in the world capable of projecting force until their leader is no longer a power-mad tyrant. Technology sancti

It's difficult to take your comment seriously when you start off with a falsehood. Afghanistan was not an illegal invasion, they were the aggressor country. To equivocate ukraine with afghanistan is to support Putin's invasion.

Ties are absolutely relevant when the guy is doing stuff like removing Ukraine aid or Russian sanctions from the Republican platform. Look up Paul Manafort. Nobody is claiming Trump is a genius. The Russian ties are all out there in the ope

Thanks. I was genuinely curious. I’m surprised embedded still overwhelmingly demands C, but I’m guessing there’s a lot of inertia which you alluded to.

This is undoubtedly one of the primary motivations underpinning investment in this area, and makes me quite wary of anything coming out of it. Is any of this "cloud gaming" being backed by a love of gaming itself? Doesn't fee

Volatility didn't change overnight, I'm sure margin requirements for speculating on Rub increased dramatically in the run-up to the war. It's unlikely they allowed any margin at all on the eve of the invasion.

I saw a picture of a Russian mall from yesterday, lots of people out and about shopping like nothing is amiss. So far the Russian protests are pretty anemic (I mean in numbers, not in passion, and I greatly respect those currently protestin

I’d love to know what you think the West can do, except that we are scared? I think the West is doing absolutely the right thing. This is a disaster for Putin but you know what could turn it around for him? If we give him an excuse to escal

I am with you. If anything I want to turn up the sanctions even more, as I see Putin ramping up the war crimes he’s committing in Ukraine out of frustration at the resistance there.

Don’t let Putin off the hook for his own bad decision to invade. The USA did nothing but tell the world what Putin was planning, we did not goad him into it. Nobody put a gun to Putin’s head and said invade or else.
