Any why are we totally, 100% sure that it was the bankers who wrecked the economy? Did they not work within the system? Who broke the law and isn't going to jail? This is just blind, bullshit populism where people want to target a group and

All I know is if I were bartending, or working at starbucks, Id be getting laid far more often. As a hacker/entrepreneur, women don't play a significant role in my life.

I think they'd benefit much more if they used their position as the killer git app in order to help git go mainstream. Having git be universal in the Ruby/Rails world has been a huge accellerator for maintaing open source projects. No longe

Is the statute of limitations (6 years) that's mentioned in the article BS? I sort of suspect it is. 6 years seems way too short.

I like the new core api a lot. Ext.select acts similar to jquery's $() and Ext.request acts similar to jQuery.ajax. Good to see more standardization in the js framework library design.

Seems like a perfectly reasonable approach. They still are going to continue using Ruby on the front end of the site. It's just the backend message queuing, and data operational stuff that they're moving to Scala. I probably would have just

Rush shell (rush.heroku.com) is awesome, you should give it a try if you do any sort of sysadmin across multiple machines. This one (Rubish) looks a bit half baked, but I'll have to look into it some more.

Big win for Microsoft. Though I'm skeptical about whether the VB focused ASP.net dev community will adopt this over the fundamentally broken "WebForm" piece (Microsoft hasn't taken any official position over which one is prefered). Still, I
