I like that go and rust binaries are statically linked. This means that I can build an environment I like using these and bring them almost everywhere, wsl, Mac, Ubuntu, red hat, etc. For me, this is the feature of rust/go.

I would first need to see the site to get a sense of if I agree with the monetization, but at that I would have seen the ads. Hence I block all ads,if a site has a nag screen about ad blocker, I block it from my searches with Kagi. I wish i

The court and the gouvernement are independent and different things. In this instance the gouvernement is not involved. A citizen is taking google to court.

Not an American, but I think your first amendment only applies to gouvernement. Most sites do moderate which would run afoul with your interpretation.

It would be nice to add radon to the table. Some consumer air quality monitor have it and the usability of the mail test means many people don't know their exposure.

I realize that and secretly hope Canada will just flat out ban Facebook as it would have become an obvious liability to our sovereignty. It is unacceptable that other countries, India, US or others, have such a large control over the news a

The prime minister put his credibility that of the government on the line. They obviously have evidence and are convinced of this being factual as the price to pay for being wrong will be very steep. By the way, the word you are looking for

Facebook is not playing a smart game either. The government is already and understandably furious at India for this encroachment to sovereignty (the murder of a Canadian in Canada by a foreign state), it was also already not happy at Facebo

This is not my area of expertise, but as a former scientist (at least at the PhD and postdoc level) I would not stake my credibility on something without being 1000% sure on a normal day, let alone when the topic is extraterrestrial life or

Canada is a sovereign country. It can't really accept such a behavior from a corporation. I know a lot about C-18, but it is law now. Google will have to comply or the government will likely use it's force to make them.

I should not have to say this, but "best efforts" is not enough and is very offensive to every user still relying on your services. You had a duty of results, not merely "best efforts", to reach every-single-one of your

The obvious long term goal for society is not to have any human drivers anymore. We won't get the full benefits until that point.

I much more value the consumer protection laws that prevents surcharges to be added to the advertised price. If we open that door we will end up with tons of junk fees.

Are we supposed to be compelled to respond to emails? This could be a scam or fishing. I also expect filters to commonly put messages with such wording into spam folder. Isn't this just safe to ignore until you get a physical registere
