Thanks for the reply. It's your tool mate and of course by all means work on the features you want. It's a really neat tool, there is not doubt. I'm sure it'll be helpful to a lot of people. I'm data analyst and I o

Sounds awesome. Thanks for posting. It'd be great to be able to import this into a Jupyter notebook or script rather than doing it on the command line. Don't know how useful it is as a command line tool.

I don't think he is healthy just because of eating meat. He is healthy because of a number of factors. 1. He ate good quality food, that includes both meat and vegetables that he grew for consumption. 2. Farming is hard work so he phys

This is just anecdotal but my grandfather is nearly 90 years old. He has been eating goat meat, chicken, fish and prawns at least 4 days a week his entire life. Although he raised his own goats and fish as a farmer. And he has eaten "o

This is not too bad. I'd prefer hydrogen fuel cells over massive toxic batteries that we're going to have to dispose safely in a few years, from all those used Teslas! I don't know about other countries, but most of the elect

Off the top of my head, I can't remember what size nodes we use. I think it's m5x large AWS nodes with 16 cores and 128 GB RAM. Depending on the size of the data I use anywhere between 20 to 80 of these nodes. Sometimes even highe

yeah, like others have pointed out, you might be correct about it being a massive overkill for most users. It takes me at least 10 to 15 minutes to spin up a cluster and configure it before I can start anything.

You're definitely correct about Spark being a nightmare to configure. Luckily we've got data platform teams who take care of that. Analysts like I still do configure parameters depending on the scenario. You might be correct about

Apologies for being pessimistic. I've never had a reason to use dask. I like Pandas only for very small sample datasets. Nothing more than a few MBs. I deal with large amount of alpha-numeric data that can no way fit on a single comput

I've been working for Xero since three years. It's a great place to work. Free barista coffee, fruits and social gathering every Friday. Everyone is very helpful and nice. Waiting to move into a brand new office here in Melbourne,

Are those cheap? Not being sarcastic. I honestly don't know if they're selling those at a loss. I bought my Sony Smart TV 4 years ago. I don't get any ads. It's got some apps like Youtube, Netflix, Stan etc. and that
