I've been shocked many times by 220V, but it wasn't until I got my own TV that I started respecting electricity. The teacher was a flyback converter (and its capacitors). Only had to be shocked once to understand you don't fu

If you're doing a custom case and don't limit your imagination, you can use one of the many netbook or laptop motherboards. Downside is they're limited to 1-2 mPCIe slots, on the other hand they also have 1-2 SATA ports so yo

Isn't that "base-10"? HDDs, RAM, network speed were base-2 (e.g. 1TB = 1024GB) for most of my life until SSDs became common and even Google now says "1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabytes" to my exasperation.

You know what's better than Pentaform? Any of the companies doing refurbishing and resale of used PCs. I can get a laptop that has everything built-in and the same performance as this cheap wasteful keyboard for the same price. Amazing

A practice dating back to MySpace, or even before it. Facebook used to do the same "yo wait, you need to send us a photo of yourself to verify the account". You could send... any selfies, even ones already uploaded to the account.

If that's where you draw the line, you've already lost. Satan wanted you to use computers and he won. If you want to be saved, stop using computers, and I'd say stop using any technology that uses electricity just to be safe.

This is more or less what I do for a loss of ~3kg/month. At least for me, we're talking massive amounts of water, by the way. ~500ml every 2-3 hours, all day for the whole time. Ayran/yoghurt with more salt and water works

Indeed, if people cared enough, they'd be able to get amazing results out of any hardware. I also have a window that faces North, I use the rule of thirds to better place myself in front of the camera, I only do video calls during the

The tank can carry a bigger gun, but that's about it. Most of it is armor that it has to haul for 100-300 miles at a time (before it runs out of fuel). Also, lol at "Ukrainian tractors". Their biggest (only?) tractor plant wa
