With node24, no flag needed. These tools are really great and I'm happy to see improvement in the space, but I'm even happier to be able to start getting rid of them with native node improvements.

Removing a previously public list of sources after being pressed on their integration with Yandex gives me a different impression.

Not a great look. Even if you somehow believe partnering with Yandex is justifiable, you should stand by the decision. My annual plan with Kagi renews in a few months and it might be time to look for alternatives.

This is discussed in the PR comments - it's a separate OS and will necessitate changes to core.

I can empathize with their position; I know this is something the community, especially the newer users coming from the continued rapid degradation of Twitter, are asking for. The concept of verification and Bluesky's original mission

Initially I just thought they verified people working at Bluesky, which made enough sense, but this initial batch seeming so arbitrarily decided isn't a good look. It feels all too similar to the "I know someone at Twitter" v

My understanding of that situation was that they could either remove that content from being accessible on Bluesky (the client) or have the site blocked entirely. They landed on country-specific moderation, which is all publicly accessible

"Asked" might not be the correct word here, "demanded" is more fitting. I'm pretty torn, and I know this conversation has been beaten to death on HN, and I have nothing new or novel to contribute to it, but even tho

The point about Nebula having an exclusivity clause feels pretty incorrect. I haven't seen a contract, obviously, but tons of videos uploaded on Nebula are also available on YouTube. There are some videos labeled "Nebula Originals
