Stremio and other apps like Fusion have gone up and been (reasonably quickly) taken down off the App Store though. Not really "on the good side" when your main distribution method is "add this app to your account within the f

While we're here I'll give a shoutout to the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night decomp which is coming along pretty well too (still lots to do) https://github.com/Xeeynamo/sotn-decomp

I am not a coffee hipster (as will probably become evident by my next statement) but I do like good cafe coffee here in Melbourne and I completely agree. I don’t make it my daily driver, but 7/11 and even McCafe coffee is quite decent

I agree completely, most iced coffee here from supermarkets is hyper sweetened rubbish that barely tastes like coffee at all. You have to go for “double” or “triple” espresso options to get a proper taste of coffee, otherwise you’re just dr

Mostly word of mouth or podcasts. For podcasts I recommend Into The Aether in particular as they only chat about games they like and don’t bother with stuff they don’t like. And also talk about older games they like that you may have misse

I think this probably gets a lot worse before it gets better. I'm not in the space myself but am close with a number of primary/elementary educators and from my perspective it appears as though in Western/developed countries

Love this, thanks! One question - is pagination broken or not implemented? eg. searching for a band with a large discography like Built to Spill / Okkervil River only returns a small selection of tabs. It actually doesn't seem to

I feel like given the comment from Ken, it is not unreasonable to assume the game shipped like he said. He did specifically say "We had to ship ASAP" which implies that it was done to get the game out the door and indeed shipping

Nice work, I was able to extract out a feed URL from a Listnr exclusive podcast and can now add it to my normal podcast app without needing to use their stupid propriatary one. Win for openness!

Just as a real world (somewhat) counterpoint to this - you need to be very careful about performance metrics in particular. Functionality is pretty easy to verify with LINQ / mock data sets (though it is also easy to mock things in a w

I’m not sure whether this linked on does or doesn’t handle HEVC. But Avidemux in copy mode should handle it, I’ve been using it for a while in a similar lossless manner to this tool and it’s great.

Upgrades are honestly really easy, and have been since around .NET Core 2. I have now done 2 -> 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 3 -> 3.1 -> 5 -> 6 with very little friction at all, in a fairly big web API codebase. I don't foresee any
