How is this is any way an anonymous tracker? The police could get a subpoena for Apple to divulge the iCloud account, credit card, and phone number of the owner of this AirTag. Using air tags to conduct illegal activity is stupid.

Yeh I hit that too! If it’s the same app their business model is to charge for offline use. Not a great way to get new customers though as it requires missing out on logging a ride to become aware of a reason to buy.

Of potential interest is that IPv6 also has the concept of link local addresses. These are automatically assigned and not routable. But, yeh, I went through the same moment of fear that you did when I first turned on ipv6.

I tried doing this once. It just wasn't worth the additional testing effort and increased complexity. Switching to Ansible was far more productive. Interestingly though starting in Bash was a good MVP approach. Fast to get started. But

I think the article touched on that, but your second sentence gave the context of why looking at the atmosphere is interesting. Thank you. And yeh, that is exciting!

Those are great thank you! I suppose I'm also hoping to go deeper. Like how is this going to help us understand how galaxies evolve? I suppose it will because we can see farther and so younger galaxies, and compare that to older galaxi

What exactly are we hoping to learn from the telescope? I understand that it will allow us to see farther than ever before, and that is exciting. But, there must be a list of hypotheses that astronomers are planning to test. None of the vid

What may be semantically true may also be quite different than peoples perceptions. And peoples perceptions and how they functionally treat crypto is like a currency, it's even in the name. So, I strongly suspect if you tried to argue

You are thinking of this like a technologist. Think about it on how we handle reporting requirements on a cash transaction. There is nothing inherent in a cash purchase that facilitates reporting of the transaction to the government. All of

I don’t understand the issue. Today if I have a cash transaction greater than $10k I have to report it. This bill just clarified that cash includes digital assets. Is your issue with the existing law or you feel crypto shouldn’t be treated

Yes, whenever I see a dash cam I stop and think about getting one, I see the value. Especially since the probability of a car accident is far more likely than a B&E through your front door.
