I'm sick of these posts. What I got out of the article was "I think I know how Google should design its product, and thus I deem decisions not in agreement to be total bullshit." Personally, I prefer to respect the work they've put into the

I don't think joblessjunkie is criticizing the command key (I personally don't mind either the Windows or Mac placement). He's saying that the ctrl and the fn key (used to access the function keys instead of brightness/expose/volume/etc) sh

I'm inclined to agree. Dropbox has made some hard decisions to be so simple and easy to use, decisions probably made after a lot of usability testing. (Smaller) open source projects usually don't have this luxury.

What I get from this article is a) apt-get is awesome and b) there's subcategories in the launcher. I completely agree that apt-get is great, and subcategories aren't bad either. However, this has nothing to do with "app stores." apt-get ha

And why should he mention Apple? It's not like he's making a pro-patent argument and just failing to address a huge counterexample. He's disagreeing with Google's behavior - should he take the chance to bash every large company other there?

What exactly is the best refrigerator test? Searching for it on other sites (Google, Wikipedia) just return refrigerator results in the former and nothing really useful in the latter...

Awesome idea, maybe biased because my friend and I were talking about a similar idea maybe just a week ago. :) Maybe some way to import contacts? Not sure if it's overkill, but maybe worth considering.
