Not using or deleting social media was a big one. I’m a little out of the loop since I’m not on Facebook but I hear about everything important via word-of-mouth now, which feels more intimate. Not using my phone at night. I try not to use i

Oclif was one I used a while back but, last I tried it (a couple of months ago), there were either technical or documentation issues that made it a challenge to get started. It sounded like they were in the middle of fixes though so that mi

We’ll put and thank you for this. We have the same situation here. Thankfully (luckily) they have picked friends with mindful parents but that could change on a whim. Our goal, and I’m sure yours as well, is to try and give them tools and i

I just started listening to a great podcast about this: https://hubermanlab.com/how-to-enhance-your-gut-microbiome-f... I have no connection at all, just thought it might be useful for folks that like to listen and learn.

My main issue is boundaries and when to stop working, though I think I would still have that if I worked in an office and took a computer home. I will say that not seeing my team at all for the last two years has been a struggle. Getting to

I have found Eleventy lovely to use after being one WordPress for a decade. It can be as simple as you need it to be and grows with you. I’ve been able to accomplish everything I need with it. Currently replying from GitHub to Netlify autom

I was quite burned out by the end of this last summer. It was part work, part pandemic parenting but I was done in a way that I've never experienced before. I would open my laptop and just stare at the screen like the characters had no

I can absolutely relate to what you're saying here about temptation. I lost ~100 pounds (280 -> 180) but have had trouble keeping the last 50 off. I range in weight from 200 - 230, despite only ever feeling comfortable being below 2
