Wow, really. Charging money for a product is a crime now? We must shun this practice? Ridiculous.

But why rebuild it? What's the value proposition of Detroit? Why should capital -- both monetary and human -- flow to Detroit when there's already plenty of excess capacity available in other well-established American cities? And

I'm stunned. Is the standard tow fee in SF really $520? I think if I ever had to pay that to get my property back I would pack up and leave the city. And I thought the $125 fee in my Texas city was exorbitant.

I think you're a sucker for thinking the "professional" trader/analyst/bot on the other side is some kind of deity. Incompetence is endemic in almost every profession and finance is certainly not immune. The stupidi

Regus does it. Of course it's much more cost effective to get a monthly rental if you'll be using it frequently.

The people who actually ended up doing the work never wanted to be on the lawn. Those who saw the meeting as another chance to hang out did.

This is really how it's done. But requires wealth. It's what super rich people do. Homes in multiple locations and chase the sun.

Exactly. I thought this was what I wanted. Now that I'm somewhat location independent, I keep thinking about where I should move to take full advantage of my freedom. It's exhausting! I want to settle somewhere but can't deci

People do this in America. Mexican immigrants namely. I see it for myself. They know how to live well on low incomes.

Nightclubs in Houston try to keep minorities out because white people will call a place "ghetto" if it has a lot of blacks or Hispanics. It's not hard to figure out. Growing up in Houston I saw countless venues quickly disapp

Doesn't make sense. Why would they buy it for $4.5 billion or more when they have no interest in positioning on cable tv? What they want is content, they can simply bid for it. If they want their management, the people who select shows

I'm not even sure how the 10% lives unless you combine two professionals in a household. Even in a place like San Diego, which supposedly doesn't have much of an economy, you have to spend $500k to get a decent enough home to rais

You're not required to buy a case and accessories at the AT&T store. If someone is price conscious, they will know they can get it cheaper elsewhere. And I suspect a lot of people won't put cases on them since the shell is pla

Agreed. This is absolute nonsense. You don't go back for another visa every time you leave the country with an L-2. Shame on OP, not only for lying, but doing such a piss-poor job at it. Shame on HN for blindly upvoting this garbage. I
