It's a natural property of the pyramidal structure of most organizations. At the bottom, there are many people in a similar situation to sympathize with, but at the top, there is only one CEO.

Well, you're in luck! The IRS has prepared a 56-page document on just this topic [1]. The summary on page 3 is: > To be deductible, a business expense must be both ordinary and necessary. An ordinary expense is one that is common a

If you're operating a business as an individual (sole proprietor), you deduct expenses and only pay taxes on profits.

Exactly. Google does not sell personal data, so its revenue from selling personal data is $0. Of course Google is still subject to the law because it qualifies on the other two criteria.

You omitted the other criteria. Only one of the following needs to be satisfied for the law to apply: * Annual gross revenue generated in Ohio above $25 million. * Controls or processes the personal data of 100,000 or more consumers duri

The problem is if you start with B. Then you compress it to get C. Since B == C, when you uncompress C, you get A, which is not what you started with.

This is the classic innovators dilemma. The established players are afraid to cannibalize their more profitable existing product lines, which presents opportunities for new companies that don't have existing products to cannibalize. Th

First, that's not actually true. Have a look at figures 3 and 4 of this paper [1]. CO2 emissions increase with income, and that holds both globally and within particular countries they studied (US, UK, China, India). Second, even if it
