If a government is legitimately elected, and respects due process, I don't see why people would want to hide from the government. There are very few situations where a journalist would need to hide himself from a legitimate government

The problem is that software distributors might break laws if the said drivers lands on unlicensed hdmi hardware, so they should be liable to check if the hardware is properly licensed, which might generate headaches. Or maybe lawyers canno

I still don't understand what is cloudflare's business model, yet they manage to make news. I don't see how their main product is ddos protection, yet cloudflare goes down for some reason. This company makes zero sense to me.

I don't understand the point of this thing. Maybe competing with other engines, but it's hard to know how good enough this will be. The age of mods is over, we're in the age of engines now, I don't think they will catch

I don't want to believe it until it happens. NVIDIA and AMD can decide to undermine it if Linux doesn't yield enough profits for them. Even if only one of them undermines linux, linux gaming might have trouble progressing and game

I don't understand what's the business of cloudflare. They just sell proxies, to whoever. Why are they the only company doing ddos protection? I just don't get it.

I started making a language, and I took many shortcuts. I just parse my language, translate it to C, and use C compiler errors. I don't add new semantics, I just add many things like strings, map, etc to make it usable and fast. I don&

Laptops are difficult to cool down, they're bad for gaming. Unless they remove fans, or have limited hardware, but that's already a steam deck: just add a keyboard and a larger screen.

I like neither C nor zig C is too verbose, Zig has too many features and things. I would rather have some sort of "improved C", without the complexity of C++, but with things map, string, vector math, etc, just standard quality-of

I believe the PS3 was designed to make it difficult to emulate. Why go through the pain to design such thing, which makes it difficult for developers, while I don't think it would really result in better performance.

I wonder if that architecture was designed to prevent emulation. Because emulators still work insanely hard to make those games work, even today.
