I mean, even if android is/was open source, it was always fastidious to build a de-googled android image for a phone model. Of course it's not great for their business model. Not to mention, no more trustworthy app distribution. I

As long as you have critical thinking, it's fine. So I would say it accentuates the gap between good developers and bad ones. A sharp sense for logic and causality etc is what differentiates.

I'll never get over game dev people arguing that I should spend half my budget on marketing, which they mean ads. The internet has so much fraud, bad actors and toxicity, yet it makes so much money.

I don't know why, but on windows, the first time I start VLC after a windows boot, it takes about 5s to 8s to open a video file, any sort of video file I suspect it's a graphics driver issue, or something else
