Care to explain? Not saying C is a great standard, but that idea means that using C instead of assembly doesn't generate a big overhead, and it's still much easier to write C than assembly, especially when compiler support is very

Seems pointless, to me long range wifi is 4g or 5g. I'd rather have a way to do long range data directly between two phones.

I prefer using a simplified subset of c++ than write rust. Meaning i just use the simple parts of c++. This rust code reads like there is a lot to learn about rust. This is a big barrier.

I realized the problem with this format is that it will always be more expensive since desktop/gaming computer parts are never designed to be smaller. The main reason being cooling. Although there might be a lot of headroom to use gami

only way to make email work is to let the user choose what domain they trust, and maybe to have a feature where the user must whitelist addresses.

I don't think those ai are able to have reason and to understand the data they're given. They just reshape the data without understanding it. It's still artificial. Unless there is a breakthrough in analyzing those neural bla

While it's true the war on drugs has gone too far, saying illegal drugs are "not so bad for your health" is a bit much. The most disturbing is reading people who says psilo is better than antidepressants to treat depression,

Thanks for defending AD. They help a little but it's better than nothing. The new problem is how internet people encourage others to self medicate with psychedelics. Everytime there is a trial study, you can read a lot of them.

Yes, it's quite a nice language, but it still has features I wish it didn't. It's close to what I want to do, except it doesn't have python indentation, and it doesn't have tuples.

I'm trying to build a language that translates directly to C. I will just implement some features of the language in C, with some headers I can already find. It feels like it's the best way I want to do this. That way, a C compile

AI can't have political opinions because they're not conscious yet. Being able to have a political conscience goes even further than having a conscious intelligence. A lot of people don't like politics, but in my view, politi

I wish it was possible to do direct phone to phone data communication, a bit like CB but for data. Of course the range would be limited because of phone batteries, but at least you would not require a large, expensive network of antennas. I

Swatting is the result of an aggressive police. Of course those scam calls are guilty, but the police should also be less aggressive. If the police would fix it's behavior swatting wouldn't exist.
