Yup. Maybe it's also time that companies take cybersecurity more seriously, and maybe not just companies, but governments too. If insurance companies would cover ransomware damage, you can be certain those insurance companies would IMM

I love c++, but honestly I see less reasons to use it instead of slower things like python ruby etc. C++ is just too slow to compile and it's really not nice to use. C++ is great to write libraries that need to be fast, but in general,

I haven't read the article, but I tend to believe that people in rich developed countries always lived in an insulting abundance, and they don't seem to understand the cost of supplying how they eat, and what it requires: they don

Depends on what sort of security you work, but companies who work for state or military related security might be easy targets. Security means money and can mean violence. There are computer security people who work for intel agencies, thos

I believe it's either related to the new AI-specialized chips, or maybe to the factoring or neural network graphs. Any specialized domain tend to have its own domain specific language, so obviously it would be true for AI, too.

I wish it was easier to program a GPU... I've already refrained myself to learn vulkan because it scares me, but similarly, opengl and cuda are a bit mysterious to me, and I don't really know how I could take advantage of it, sinc

I predict wasm is going to die if it can't use the dom or have better tooling and support. It's an amazing tech but it's stagnating, it's quite sad.

I once read that C is the new assembly, because all CPU have a C compiler. I then decided to make a language that compiles to C, it's just about adding strings, list and tuple. I almost finished the parser and the "translator"

For years, copying a result link in Google was copying a redirect. When you hovered, it was the actual link. When you right clicked, it changed to a redirect.

I started a job in startup, c++ and qt. Again, I'm being asked to just read and execute the code step by step to understand it. Important parts are uncommented, I don't think there are tests. Talked about good coding practices on

I'd rather advice people to reinvent a new html js format. Preferably serialized to binary so it can fast and save battery on mobile. Html was not designed for applications, it carries a lot of debt, and it's an ambiguous language
