Sure, you have a point there. So perhaps the issue we see now is that we have lots of humanitarian hotspots around the world and we need another organization than the UN to deal with it? Can they co-exist?

1. Tear down the UN since it has failed. Russia, China or the US will always block something. The security council is clearly dysfunctional. 2. Establish e.g. EU humanitarian intervention taskforce. And the same for ASEAN? And maybe even No

Observation: The world community really needs to figure out how to deal with failed states. And the real, live humans that suffer in those states. The list goes on: Venezuela, Syria, Libya, North Korea, etc.

This looks questionable. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/battery-health-monitor-batte... Not a single of the word "menu" in the description page, even. And the UI is kinda..all-over-the-place, to be hone

(Sorry, late.) These companies don't seem to tend to think long-term, at least not at this level. It's all about growth acceleration/hacking.

At least Adwords is a mostly B2B service. Google doesn't do this on their consumer-focused services.

I guess it all comes down to how expensive they'll be (at least for consumer applications). The $3000 cost for the new developer edition doesn't bode well, IMO.

Looks nice. It does feel painful to give Apple 30% of $0.99 (US) in this instance.

Have you personally tried the Hololens? They appear to have oversold the qualities of at least the first version.

They could sync those moments quite precisely (think NTP) so that everyone jump at the same time. Then it would also be fun to look at...

I thought it was like that, expect that instead of specific moments in time there were specific real-world locations using geo-location. Pokemon Go meets Super Mario meets Fitbit... I guess this game would really need very light-weight AR h

I did fly both airlines, a couple of times each. (I don't normally fly many domestic american flights, but somehow I managed to fly with both of these...) Paperless tickets.. really? That's so 10 (20?) years ago.

This was my first reaction. This seems like a weird marriage. Virgin America is one of the western world's most innovative regional carriers (along with Norwegian, IMHO), and Alaska Air, from my experience, is kind of the opposite.
