It’s a lot more frustrating to have a detailed conversation with a dwarf that fails to materialize in agreed upon behavior than for some backstories that you know are fluff to be irrelevant. Folks really just aren’t going to engage in it

It would still be bad for largely the same reasons. At best you could have some read only output generated on top of the game state. But interactive AI conversations that drive game state? Recipe for disaster

It would be hot garbage. Skyrim and basically all games are held together by suspension of disbelief which is reinforced by the player not doing things that they can’t do. If you give the player the agency to do anything they want then that

It matters in principal that these things should be avoided. And he didn’t handle it right. But you’d be fooling yourself if the facts of this story suggest it had any meaningful impact on his ruling.

Sounds like a nothing story. It was not a significant trade. It was just the money was in a pooled fund that was trading individual stocks rather than a mutual fund, which is in practical terms, not really meaningful. We should strive to ha

This brinksmanship of determining if bug spray is a good idea or not is a pretty moronic approach to understanding… anything. You can do your own research if you want, but your personal opinion is of no importance to anyone and it’s not sur

It seems awfully paranoid to leap from “the protocol isn’t totally clear” to “do they think I believe everything on the internet?!”. Read the bottle. Put it on. If you’re in an area prone to Lyme disease it’ll be far worse than any tiny deg

Generally speaking the money is coming from returns on investments. The sp500 has increased by 28% over the past 12 months with no mention of dividends.

There may have been but they weren’t prominent in most people’s play. And they were just not nearly as competent. That was back in the day when people were arguing about controllers vs mouse for fps aiming. These games are just not great fo

I’m curious about the C++ issues with Unreal. I am a hobbyist game dev. I did a couple years with Unity, learning C# on the fly; and a few years with Unreal more recently learning mostly blueprints but a decent chunk of C++ where needed. My

Alyx is really a bad game. People don’t recognize this because they play it for a very short time and then that’s it. The gun and grabbing UX is fantastic. It’s really good. But the enemies and movement are awful. The enemies are simply not

A gas power plant (specifically a peaker plant designed for this) is still more expensive to start or stop than a battery or hydro. However, it is much more expensive to build the capacity for batteries and you need to charge the batteries

That doesn’t work very well when the average number of winners is much less than 1. The math might work out that the “expected value” is more than one winner but in a realistic lottery you should expect to be the only winner.
