Benefit based on a life choice has been found discriminatory in other situations. Your second point makes sense, but many don't offer that. Some do, some don't. Often volunteering is seen as a thing one gets compensated for (don

Salesforce has "unlimited PTO", which is what it is. I'm not a fan of such a policy and depending on team, it is probably better than Amazon's 10 days of PTO. Acquisitions (depending on how they are handle) go through a

Another issue is financing manufactured homes is often much more expensive than tradditional / stick built houses. I'm not sure how that applies to Lindle / other higher end pre-fab homes. A house on a foundation vs wheels&

I drove 17 for about 20 years, my parents drove it when there was a suicide lane and no center barrier. I am well aware. Santa Cruz (and other isolated liberal enclaves) will be it's own death. They literally tried a 0.5% sales tax m

The "core" of Silicon Valley really isn't affordable, unless you want to live dorm style, for many. Rents at 3-4k/mo. Families, it's even more challenging. Nearby "bedroom" communities - Morgan Hill out

The Teams organization had little interest in performance optimization. They spent more time cramming more features in. It seemed like, at the time, the Teams org valued feature creep for promos over actual stability and performance.

I have part of the data. It was not scrubbed. I know names and addresses in it. Working with a friend to get the rest. I think a DOXing lawsuit against CA DOJ is needed. The data isn't wholly accurate but relevant to 12/2021.
