Interesting. I hand write notes in a notebook and I'm unhappy with how difficult it is to find things later. But I can't install an app like Obsidian on my work computer, so I think I will use a simple text editor for now.

Strongly disagree. You gave them the means and permission to bill you on a regular basis. These area valid and legal transactions. There are no protections from poor judgement (if you deem a subscription to be a poor choice).

It is not trivial to get electricity service upgrades that many homes need to charge electric cars. It is expensive and many utilities are backed up with service upgrade requests. PG&E in the SF Bay Area is currently quoting 12-18 month
