I actually really enjoy doing katas on https://www.codewars.com/ , especially when I'm ramping up on a language. You solve a short problem, and then immediately see how other people solved it. I'll frequently write

Because dozens of bootcamps are churning out tens of thousands of candidates a year. There's only so many entry level positions to fight over, especially if they all have essentially the same skill set (full stack web).

Go with what you know can get the job done. It's fun to use new tech, but Java isn't going anywhere and it's very stable and performant at this point. Your concerns should be the following: 1 - will this stack get the job don

Elixir really isn't just Ruby with better performance. The two look syntactically similar (and have some similar tooling, from rubyists who've moved over to elixir), but that's about where their similarities end. Ruby really

I find that I struggle with offices... you're stuck there for 8+ hours (even if you don't work that way, you need to create an impression), but after several hour of intense focus and the noise and chaos of an open office, I can f

I played through it for the first time with the remake. Not always laugh out loud funny, but some bits were so witty and creative I loved it (the sword fighting bit was great).

Publishers do this every time a famous author dies or becomes incompetent (in the legal sense of the word). Go Set a Watchman was a very early draft of To Kill a Mockingbird but sold to the public as an uncovered sequel novel a short while

It accelerates it by further decreasing housing supply. The housing problems of NYC are complex and challenging, and AirBNB is just a part of that.

Because it further reduces the number of homes available for people to actually live (which is why we have zoning laws), which inflates rent/housing prices. This forces the bottom rung out of the city, because they can't afford

I watched a few of his early stock evaluation videos, really informative. Shkreli's a bit sociopathic, but he's wickedly smart, in his spare time he teaches himself javascript and organic chemistry.

Of course, and thank you for all of the work you've done. I'd love more than anything for Elixir to take off so there's more Elixir jobs out there, and educating developers is a key part of making the language more popular. I
