It helps if the dough is cold, too. When we make pizza, we've started letting it rise in the fridge for 24 hours or so. The result is a flavorful dough that's super-easy to toss.

I don't understand why people are surprised or upset by this. There are dozens of ad networks that already serve full-screen video ad content. People who want free and ad-supported apps will continue to watch video ads, people who don&

Simple just recently added free instant transfers between Simple accounts. Not as convenient as a joint account, but that's good enough for my wife and I to make the move to Simple.

The idea of examining a subject's pupil has been around for years. I've used a similar technique to reverse engineer lighting setups for portraits. See my friend Mike's portrait of one of his children: http://www.f

Have you tried Google Maps for iOS? It's fantastic and more than makes up for any regressions in the stock app.

And remember, the iPhone was the first phone with visual voicemail. It boggles the mind that we all had to deal with horrible audio menus for decades before Apple came along and strong-armed Cingular into fixing voicemail.

I think you misunderstand the point that he is trying to make. Gruber's "iPad isn't for creation" jokes are purely a rebuttal to all the naysayers that repeated, ad nauseum, that iPads are only for consumption. iPads ma

At least in the US, most customers upgrade their phones on a 2 year cycle. The iPhone 5c is an upgrade over my iPhone 4s and the 5s appears to be a significant upgrade. Each generation may not be a huge improvement from the previous one, bu

> It is an overkill for a small project with a central repository - what we usually have, leading to a large conceptual overhead. I strongly disagree. All my projects use git and the majority of them are small with a central repository.

Assuming this is true, zipper merge is still a vastly preferable system. 1) It's a more effective use of the roadway. Why have 1 lane of traffic backed up for 2 miles when you can have 2 lanes of traffic backed up for 1 mile? 2) It&

Our app uses this method to cache images and we were seeing huge memory leaks due to this bug. Like the example showed, the bug manifested itself in a retain count being incremented on property access. Our solution was something like this

I run primarily in iOS dev circles and everyone I know who has played with a Windows phone has gushed about it. I've always thought it was better than iOS in a lot of ways. For a while I had considered switching phones, but I couldn&#x

iOS 7 (beta) seems just as fast/stable as any previous beta release. iOS 4 was completely unusable on it's first release.

I don't understand this sentiment. Apple is releasing groundbreaking new products at the same rate they always have. They are certainly innovating no slower then they always have.

Why bother? An app like this is going to make significantly more money in the Apple ecosystem. With all the Vesper features they could be working on, I'm sure they don't see any need to spend time on Android or Windows right now.

I don't think this is surprising at all. Apple's allegations against Samsung were largely visual and easy for the layperson to understand. It makes sense that Apple's position would carry more weight in the mainstream media.
