How are Obama sanctioned drone strikes at all comparable to a scarlet letter?

Inflammatory language like that isn’t suitable for HN - I hardly think donating to a org that supports a political proposition opposing gay marriage qualifies as ‘bigoted homophobe’ - but if your hatred keeps you going... carry on

So was Obama until halfway through his presidency but we don’t put scarlet letters on him... as a gay dude I’m sick of us branding people all the time... the dude is a legend no if’s ands or buts

Was anything they said here particularly sensational? They didn’t even mention the A word (aliens), just pretty much stated what happened.

I’m pretty sure they are referencing an article published by a science journalism company owned by Northrop - it was discussing the possibility of alien biospheres. That is waaaay different than what op is suggesting. A bit clickbaity in th

They confirmed the incident so unless the pilot/copilot were just completely fabricating it, they did in fact have contact with a UFO - that doesn't mean aliens - just something unidentified.

Isn’t it almost certainly the case that the ‘unstoppable’ thing it turns in to will basically be more akin to a general cold though? The thing that makes this virus deadly is also the thing we are coding against in the vaccine.

Does anyone have any tips for using ddg? I feel like maybe I’m just not conditioned to how it thinks cause I seem to have terrible luck with my search relevance. People here seem to love it and I would love to switch over from google but I

Isn’t that kind of what you are doing by posting that comment? You could respond and explain why you disagree - instead you just shallowly dismissed their comment by saying it was shallow. Also maybe I’m crazy but their comment seemed to be
