IMO the 12 inch MacBook is a weird proposition since it neither has the power of mbp nor the battery backup of mba. From the anecdotal reviews I read in various forums it’s performace is somewhat lower than the mba but I’m not sure if that’

Actually I don't see any practical issue with the resolution. I do mostly backend programming using IntelliJ/Jupyter so it works for me. A 1080p screen would be a nice addition though. Plus for the sub-$1k price point I think the

I disagree. Simple rule: Don’t allow visas for client projects. If companies need people let them hire directly at market rates. It’s weird that you work with organization A and your paycheck comes from organization B.

I’ve recently switched to a mostly-vegetarian diet and have been enjoying Beyond Meat and Gardein products. The only thing that worries me is the “closed source” nature of such products. Tasty plant based protein is a tough problem to solve

yeah I think thats the best outcome of the whole exercise. I went to India in the middle of that shitstorm and it was really painful to travel around. Currency exchanges/banks only gave 2000 rs notes the nobody wanted to accept.
