Well, you can’t use them because of attitude like yours. You’re not only annoying those of us who want to use plus signs or international domains, but ensuring the “exotic” half of the world that doesn’t use the Latin alphabet is kinda left

As I said above, investing in an index fund will certainly help you retire earlier or more comfortably, but will hardly build wealth in the way Sahil talks about in the post.

Pressure to stop pulling this kind of bs if they want to remain a viable economy in Europe. Honestly, I wish the next step would be for NATO to step in and restore the country to a legitimate government. Between this, Syria, Lebanon, Ukrain

Absolutely in the west too. What makes you think otherwise? Which opportunities are available for common people that don’t have any safety net?

The missing detail is that 99% of people have no access to these wealth creation mechanisms. Having money into the stock market is already a >1% privilege and not nearly enough to generate wealth (unless you already have it).

I wouldn’t discard it so easily - flutter does all drawing and compositing on its own, without using system libraries. Could easily be redrawing the whole screen.

Oh my god. I get it. You’re reading the headline as “this GIF uses xx memory”. That’s not what is says. It’s “GIF uses X memory on x86, X*10 memory on M1”. You’re picking a fight based on your own misreading.

Where do you see anything about individually opening 730 frames, and why would it be unsurprising for that tiny load to cause a bug? Have you heard of video editors? The same machine can edit four 4K@60fps streams.

I don’t know why you made up your mind on this without having any details. The person reporting is the author of a graphics editor, he damn well knows the difference between a bug in his own editor and system frameworks. The issue seems to

The iPad Pro has 4GB with almost the same CPU and is absolutely snappy editing 4K videos, instantly switching in and out of apps etc. It’s a matter of software architecture and not raw space available.

There is no obligation to support the code at all though. You can release it once, say it’s unsupported, and let the community pick up maintenance / forks if there’s enough interest. Otherwise, no harm done.

Is it normal for an aerospace engineer to be able to launch himself into space? I think your stance is quite irrational / ignores the complexity of modern society.

The companies are purchasing from a distributor. They don’t decide the pay or conditions just as they don’t for other suppliers. They probably only choose to purchase because of that label and price.
