Only a few months ago, shares were at $14 plus change. Not much hope of significant profit in the near future. Perhaps some Chinese investors flush with capital might entertain an offer. Tencent?

I agree. The researchers are aware of the challenge. There is so much we don't know about the C4 pathway and then to somehow successfully merge parts of it into a C3 plant. It might be easier to develop a C4 plant that can thrive in

To some extent, I think this is what Brexit supporters want. With fewer jobs in London and rest of UK, and more border controls, the attraction of the UK for migrants decreases significantly. The ultra heated real estate market can finall

So the net "winner" for financial services might be Germany? If I were looking for a new financial head office, I would be inclined to locate it in the EU's largest and most stable economy, right?

In this simplified system, the number of these cell wall genes in the genome is proportional to the quantity of the cell wall proteins produced. It's more of a quantity issue, rather than a dependency issue. For example, having more

I agree that colonizing another world is important as a "backup policy" but I'm still skeptical that Mars is inhabitable in the long term with current technologies. I feel like human civilization would have a better chance o

A lot of the young people go back to Asia for better jobs after graduating. Silicon Valley and Seattle are popular destinations. Also some move to Toronto or Montreal.

This articl was a bit of a hit job. GitHub is changing as revenue and staff increase. That makes sense. There are always growing pains. A flat, so-called meritocratic structure only works in a few situations. GitHub makes the majority o

That's an interesting perspective. I would think it's the amount of precipitation at the major watersheds and reservoirs that would be indicative of an "onslaught", rather than what happens in Silicon Valley.

Holacracy implies no organization. It is a freeform, organic, shapeless philosophy with possibly no direction. The migration project has taken 27 months with 300 staff, about 8100 man-months, with apparently little to show for progress. L
