I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking the unspoken end of the sentence "I welcome a debate..." was "...anytime after February 2016."

Vistaprint cards are terrible, in my experience. I've had excellent results with Moo, even if they're slightly more expensive I've always been happy with their results.

No matter how many times it's encrypted, if it's encrypted solely with keys that Google generates, then it's insecure with respect to stuff like PRISM. What good is locking the door when you can simply give a spare key to som

Well, no, not really. Path doesn't display YOUR password in plaintext. It shows what you've typed in the password box unobfuscated if you tap the "?" in the password field. Since the password masking field only shows the

Aww, just a mapping error. I would have been far more impressed if Google had actually "annihilated" the island itself so reality would better match their maps.

So would I. However, humanbeings kill each other all the time. Given the choice between killing another human being, or having another human being kill me, I know which choice I would make.

Same here. I trust Waze with my location information, to provide a service to me. I do not trust Google with that same information, because it will be used for far more than providing that navigation service to me. No thanks.

The "work harder" here is that you don't need to acknowledge pretty much any of those popups in Waze. If you leave them alone, they'll timeout and disappear automatically, you don't NEED to interact with the app whi

If you find yourself in this position ever, do yourself a favor and try to avoid this immediate "jump to make it as close to Linux as possible". I know several people who've had this opinion (being hardcore Linux users) and o

Why worry about the security of your passwords when the traffic you view with those passwords is probably already being logged? While it wouldn't surprise me that AES is encouraged because there's a backdoor in it, I'd be les

Hot button inflammatory accusation. If the developers don't support non-English languages, which of the possible reasons do you think it may be? 1) Github developers aren't particularly internationalization-aware. Because, y'

I really don't get this tax witch hunt. Is anyone actually saying that Apple is illegally sheltering revenue from being taxed? If so, have the IRS bring them to court and prove their case. If they're legally using the elephantine tax co

So in short, if (1.1) SCAD pays you for your work, or (1.2) you assist a paid employee, SCAD claims copyright. That's not all that unfair to me. Item 4 in the list seems like a reasonably standard "license to use" your work but they're not
