Yes, a private company can decide people who wear orange shirts are wrong and ban access from people wearing orange shirts.

Sure, but a 1984 comparison is not appropriate here.

Which people and what scenario? At a base level comparing a government telling you which fictional truths to believe to a private company providing a technology service is difficult.

I believe 1984 was about the government rewriting reality and not private industry.

I'm not confused. It's just curious to tell people to not spread false information and then admit you may be spreading false information.

Of course. I was just pointing out that it's easy to expand your knowledge beyond first hand experience.

Right, but other people in "society" besides big tech, support this decision. Nobody is thinking society is just big tech people. There are a lot of people who agree with tech's decision to cut off coup enablers.

What? People who agree and have a common interests are not immediately part of a group who move as one.

Yes, of course, that's how humans work. But these bubbles are often considered as a singular group moving as one, when in reality they are separate organizations and individuals who agree with each other.

I think music is different. Each band has a different flavor and style. You need to have different projects and bands to get different styles. You are usually waiting around for other people too. Getting the drummer to show up for rehear

Sure, but it's just factual that if you have x amount of hours to devote to projects during the week, the more projects, the less each project gets. Perhaps some build off each other, but I'm sure you understand every hour of tech

The problem is people don't deny black-on-black crime is a problem. Society is in agreement that we don't want that. Bring up racism and police brutality though and people strongly deny it's a problem.
