aha, that would explain the distinction, my 3rd party RF lenses are all manual focus. my favorite of the latest crop has been a 50mm f/1.4 tilt lens, manual focus of course.

I have some good news for you! While tulips do not reliably come back every year, sometimes skipping a year, they are actually perennials.
