- friend_and_foe 3y agoThe bacteria in the link is Streptococcus mutans, the species in this article is Fusobacterium nucleatum. They're not the same species, one can't be used to replace the other.
- xk_id 3y agoIt can be, if they secrete inhibitory metabolites and/or compete for the same feeding substrates.
