- kyriakos 3y agoDid Canon start letting 3rd parties to manufacture lenses for RF mount?
- jerrysievert 3y agoI don't know if it was a "start letting", but I have multiple 3rd party RF lenses purchased through normal retail, not grey market.
- kyriakos 3y agoI think the issue is with auto-focus lenses. Manual lenses have been available. Did some searching and looks like Canon is now licensing to 3rd Parties to manufacture RF lenses but none made it to the market yet.
- jerrysievert 3y agoaha, that would explain the distinction, my 3rd party RF lenses are all manual focus. my favorite of the latest crop has been a 50mm f/1.4 tilt lens, manual focus of course.
