There is just nothing good to expect from companies that promotes excessive porn, guns, drugs, gambling, meat, soda, … for money. I am far from religious or straight edge, but the ways of debauchery are nothing new or surprising. There is n

If I was asked how a Linux distribution and package management should work, I would probably describe something very different to Debian, because of all the bureaucracy involved, yet I have been happily using Debian for everything for more

I have the exact opposite point of view. 99% of the code is written by inexperienced people and passed on to the next generation that of inexperienced developers. Most development has been, is and will be for the foreseeable future outsour

I hope not. My Nikkor 135mm dc is quadrupled in value since I bought it :) DC stands for “defocus control", as distorting the bokeh forward of backward.

Nothing a Leica rangefinder would have given you if you were not a photo journalist in the late 50s. A "special" keyboard can offer you a lot if you have an itch to scratch. Typing faster, relieving pain, automating sequences, enj

I have never been interested in the "online community" part of this mk fad but I have been happy to buy off the shelves from hhkb maybe 20 years ago, the Unicom, then EZ/sza. It’s expensive for sure but there are functioning

The most distasteful thing in this video (and there is a lot) are probably the actual ice creams. I would worry more if the failure rate was going down.

Beached whales are difficult to manage considering their dimensions ... and they attracting sharks. I was told then that explosives could still be used in some situations, especially if the "beach" was more mud than sand for insta

I have had the weird experience of dispersing a dead whale, stuck in an urban shore. No explosives allowed, no toeing, no T. rex, no light saber ... and a ticking gas bomb indeed.
