Misleading title. More accurately - Mueller did not conclude that the Trump Campaign conspired with Russia. That’s a big difference to concluding that Trump didn’t conspire with Russia. Further, the report also does NOT exonerate Trump of o

What always annoyed me is why they devised these to diverge your eyes and not cross them. Crossing your eyes is much more natural, and you can easily do it by looking at something close to your face. Diverging is much harder, at least for

FYI, the term “Time Reversal” has long been used by physicists to describe a symmetry of quantum mechanical processes with regard to flipping the sign of t (ie, time). Just like Charge and Parity symmetries which flip the sign of electric

Seconded! Those episodes totally floored me when I first saw them, made me fall in love with the series. In fact at the time they made me think if I ever wrote a Sci Fi arc that I’d plan the whole thing out like that in painstaking detail.

Looks cool! How are you getting access to bank accounts? Eg are you using Yodlee or another aggregator? My understanding is there’s no inquire-only banking API available in the USA.

I may have taken part in this study with my kids at the Barnes Wetland Center last year. They had a kids ‘science’ event held during one of the school breaks, they had fun contributing to a “real” scientific experiment/survey. We dug a

Just thought I’d point out that pipe organs do a similar thing about controlling harmonics. But the corresponding control for each drawbar on the Hammond is basically a binary switch instead of a quasi-continuous control. Further each indiv

A common trick with jazz organists back in the day was to slip a matchbook between the top of depressed keys and bottom of underpasses keys as a sustain, usually done on a high octave of the key as a drone.

It’s perfectly possible to modify Maxwell’s equations to include magnetic monopoles. Doing so makes Maxwell’s equations more symmetric between electric and magnetic fields. The reason we have equation ∇·B=0 is due to empirical observation.

A bit off-topic but as an aspiring author I’m blown away by serial writers, after reading Stephen King talk about it in his intro to the Green Mile, which was serialised. Today, we could write an entire draft novel and discover major plot h
