Admittedly I'm sleepy and wild-eyed, but... I have to wonder: If Valve pushes Linux as the focus of their internal development? But give it three years. What if Linux actually becomes the chief gaming environment? I can certainly see indie

It's weird how some seem to grasp "government" as some golem made of paper and red tape, and not humans. Or as if anything not done by an elected official is not government.

I find the near constant use of red interesting. Given all we've been told of red and marketing (think cereal boxes), I figured it would grown.

I don't think Jason was saying luck had anything to do with it, just that developers (or even employees in general) get the life ground out of them, are cast aside, and then FEEL like they've hit the lottery when they get another job. What

If you're asking by what definition of "hotter", the answer is "by sales demand". But that's the entirety of the article. If you're asking "how", I think you answered it in the last three words of your post ("except for price"). "Under the

I could very easily see "Gmail Offline" becoming a standalone program rather than a Chrome app. I don't get why that's so insane to people either.

I agree the money isn't flowing in yet, but I have no doubt it will. That's where my last line about demographics comes into play. It's hilarious/depressing that a generation with the demand for more information than ever before, and the te

For the longest time I avidly clicked answering Hulu's "Is this relevant to you?" question that came with ads. After a few months, I began to suspect they were not using the results. They never learned I didn't want a new car, for starters.

No one can expect this to stand. A cursory glance at the Wiki gave me "In 2005, the Liteye HMD was introduced for ground combat troops as a rugged, waterproof lightweight display that clips into a standard US PVS-14 military helmet mount."
