Re: batching. If I send from non-wise account in currency A to currency B directly to a non-wise B-denominated account it can take hours/days. If I add and convert the balance first to currency B within wise and then send it's the

Well there you go. I've been using dialog a lot but every time I've been hacking some backdrop around/behind it. Had no idea about the property, that's great.

Yeah, during the IoT hype there was a (supposed? I never tried it) solution to this from every cloud provider. I think Amazon and Google both deprecated it since then, not sure how Azure's is going.

I'd guess it's a result of punishing repetition at the RLHF stage to stop it getting into the loops that copilot etc used to so easily fall into.

I don't disagree with much of that at all. Intelligent wasn't some nod to the learned class or a differentiator, I meant it in a very general and generous way. People quickly see through things like, " I understand that you f

There is a lot of that. I have one who in no exaggerated terms needs every good thing to have been their idea and will reframe what their role was in anything that turns out to have been a waste of time/money. They want, more than anyt

Absolutely. And if you get bigger still (Azure), nobody will even want to discuss it.

When we propose our niche SAAS to larger customers, we're sometimes measured from a security perspective on whether we will integrate with their Okta SSO. Those discussions feel stranger by the day

I agree that it feels trite and fake. The way to get things done with difficult people is: 1. Work out (for yourself) what you really want* 2. Work out (for yourself) what they really want* 3. Accept that they want that 4. Work maturely and

Ah, ok. I did that same rewrite (alpinejs to vue3) in a project of mine. I did it for CSP reasons rather than performance/behaviour limitations despite spending quite a while getting recursive generation to work. The next project has l

Very interesting, and the first time I might have been nearly sold on it. Maybe next new project I'll try it out. Razor pages with JavaScript on the front end and automatic diffing on the backend is definitely appealing. As much as I d
