I use Proxmox, but I feel ambivalent about it. If you are debating between ESXi, Proxmox, or Hyper-V, I would probably suggest Proxmox. However, my feeling is that with the rise of containers, VMs are less relevant, and so I want a compute

I understand that 24.04 isn't really LTS until the 24.04.1 update comes out, but I like to start trying it on a secondary computer earlier, and I'm hoping not to wait that long since I really want the podman updates.

The free version has this issue "The free version of DaVinci Resolve on Linux does not support h.264 and h.265." Having to transcode to dnxhr is a bummer. I should probably just buy a dongle though.

It sounds like it was the best it could reasonably be expected be back in the late 90s, and if it hasn't been improved sufficiently since then is probably not at all his fault.

Having audio gear work on linux continues not be be a given, but it is a lot better than it was in the firewire and early USB2 days. On the firewire side, the devices that worked under linux still work under linux while those some devices

The MSRP of the de10 nano is $225, but they are commonly out of stock still. The going price for a scalped de10 nano is over $300, so all is you are likely looking at $400 to $500. I kick myself often for not getting multiple de10 nanos ear

I know that 6-8 seat jets are much cheaper, but what size do you have to go for to at least exceed the restroom in a public A320/737 based airline super cramped one? Not that I anticipate buying any jet, but I think that would be the

A 12VO PSU can still choose to provide SATA power ports, and I imagine that at some point there will be PCI-E to SATA power adapters for PSUs that support 2x GPUS and users who want 1x GPU and a lot of SATA.
