I've been interested in (but haven't yet tried) the BliKVM devices that are a for of PiKVM but are on a PCIeb card to put the device in the server. First generation from them used Pis the second switched to some other Linux SoC.

Probably because USBC connectors are really cheap. If this was 5 years ago, they probably would be doing something terrible with a usb 3 A connector instead.

I've been using Fedora Silverblue for a few months. It has Fedora in the name, so it isn't super fringe, but as one of their experimental distros, it isn't exactly mainstream. The laptop I run it on was running Ubuntu 22.04.

They specifically mention A2000 as supported. I assume that requires an '030 accelerator card then, but an A2000 with '030 card is probably much cheaper than an A3000 or A4000.
