And here I was, imagining a kit with a color spectrometer that would measure skin tone, as a predictor. I thought, that's a novel idea... had to dig a bit deeper on the website, to realize it's saliva-based. Makes much more sense.

Agreed, this has good potential for developed countries as well. Makes me wonder what the home equivalent of "bioweapon mode" is too, looking at the main filter in my home's HVAC system, it's certainly far from advanced.

Isn't a full TLS handshake 6 messages (thus 3 round trips)? Also with false start and resumption, TLS can also typically achieve 1 roundtrip, right? (I'm also confused by 30s latency for 6 RTT, but maybe I"m too focused on US

Felt more like they're just not ready yet (not a good sign IMO). When the final version of the Model X got a stage reveal, Musk presented a great deal more info (interior, new features like BioHazard mode, etc...)
