> I think janitors and garbage men should make as much as programmers. Yeah I'm not sure about that, although I heard like in NYC some garbage men make close to $100K. I still believe in proportional compensation based on effort eg.

Random thought: I escaped restaurant/factory work and got into tech and man I hated those days. Standing there cutting an endless river of chicken in the factory light... I felt like I was going to go insane. Now it's like I'

I wonder what the breakthrough will be is it hardware or software. Seems like we can make as powerful of a computer as we want/try but what makes sentience. Does a fly or gnat have sentience?

Yeah and I'm not talking down at it. I just wonder, like meaning of life sort of thing which is subjective. I still play videogames and I think VR Chat for example is pretty cool. Probably watching too much scifi (WestWorld) I think of

That's really cool, yeah that seems to be a thing you have to deal with the changing medium (air and water).

I was thinking it's funny the literal globe interface you use and then this knob you turn that's held by this arm.

Side thought: if you had a little buddy drone you tossed into the water (torpedo type) talked to your surfboard, that would be neat.

Brain vat, cliche thoughts. I wonder if people weren't burdened with a daily job/9-5 schedule, would they go insane. I'm just rambling. There are personal goals still.

Assuming all the technical stuff is done, I wonder is it sad to live in "fantasy". Space is so massive take forever to get anywhere so can go "inwards" with virtual worlds. Does "being real" matter. Personal in

I feel like I saw this concept recently (big exposed conductive pads) as a way to generate random numbers (Ben Heck's recent YT video about his lanyard game).

YANAL ha, but I was curious even if we did have to disclose the specific GPL piece of software, do we only have to release that part? Not the entire app. > web app that has client code that gets executed in the browser, That's the t

I'll have to brush up on this, GPL that's not seen by people say it does something in messaging or part of DNS or something, it would still have to be public? Use case is part of some web-app that isn't installed.

I remember asking in school if you charge more for what something was originally worth, how do you not end up with debt as a net outcome (bucket of money analogy).

I think about it from the perspective of ideas, once we figure out something (how to fly, electricity) we know it. How do you brute force find that info through random/massive computation. Specifically to find the next things we don&#x
