Every webview on iOS is Safari internally. The issue is if an app presents a webview, they can inject whatever javascript they want. This is what allows frameworks like Ionic to work in the first place, the webview runs the "app"

Ignoring the piracy aspect, I don't really understand this mindset. Why must you own a piece of media in perpetuity? Do you value things like going to a live concert where you only get the experience? IMO most Hollywood content made to

Wow, Mission Control Plus is one of those "super-obvious" once you are shown the idea, ideas. On an iPad you can close windows in the app switcher by swiping, the Mac does nearly the same thing but has no way to close windows. And

I’ve used iOS since the first iPod touch. Basically everything dumped into “General” is misplaced and hard to find, you only find it because it has been there for 10 years now.

100% at this point. A few years ago Apple introduced a classroom feature which is essentially a multi-user mode, only for education. It is already essentially built, they just have to enable it for general usage.

I’ve got a cheap Seiko 5, the SNK809. Bought for $50 new in 2013, wore it for a few years then it moved with me in drawers for the past 5. I pulled it out last week, wound it up and it works perfectly, gaining just 4 seconds a day.

I feel the same way, I write software for a living and I'm sure an outsider browsing through the thousands of lines of code in my codebases everyday would be confused, but I get that same feeling when looking at a mechanical watch. To

Same here - I've found a ton of uses, for one I can now access my Home Assistant instance without actually exposing it to the internet. Same for the linux VMs I run via ESXi on the same Intel NUC. I can also access my QNAP NAS without

This product is trying to be the antithesis of that. I have a few DJI drones and I share the same experience - you bring a drone to fly/shoot with a drone, it isn't something you do spontaneously. But this drone is not the same as

I doubt kids will find this appealing unless the parent's have already shielded them from the world of ipads/minecraft/roblox. It harkens back to the days of craning your neck to play an original gameboy with the table lamp i

And do people not keep phones that long? iPhone 7 is 6 years old now and supports the latest OS, there are surely plenty of people still using it. We are talking about 2 year old apps here. An app that I could have purchased and ran on a br

The great part is many games have the aimbot built in. Players use a hardware dongle to make a keyboard/mouse look like a controller input, and the game applies aim-assist to the keyboard/mouse input.

Yeah I agree, I feel the Cybertruck design was primarily to get their cost down to $39k (Which with the pricing of the M3 now starting at $45k, there is no way the CT will hit that.) But what people really want is just a normal truck, but e

You’ll be surprised to know that Apple is quite fine with keyboards using network access. That is literally why the “Full Access” switch exists. Without it, the keyboard is fully sandboxed. It can receive input from the container app, but n
