Definitely. And Super Debugger can be used just as well for IB projects too (some things you can't test out with IB, like a corner radius). And of course, this tool isn't just for UI tweaking. It's for any kind of messages you might want to

I'm the developer and I did the design myself! (I'm not much of a designer, but I try to stick to the essentials. Typography, contrast, and direction)

Although I haven't attempted it, I'm guessing that example would also be possible with Super Debugger. It would require a different interface, but I think it's possible. >One thing that isn't shown is that the code is simultaneously sav

I was wondering how long it would take someone to recognize that. Glad you like it! I put a lot of work into the project page.

And feel free to contribute changes back. So far there's the shell, but I think many different tools could be built on this. I'd love to see someone do a column browser for objects.

I've always wondered why there doesn't already exist such a tool. Regex strings are so opaque and hard to read. We can't really fix that for code (short of building objects), but what we could fix is a better way to write them. A graphical

I don't feel like any of my suggestions revolved around "careful wording", but instead were about how using language which gave the vibe of "Just do it", without reasoning, doesn't get me as far as it could. I even put that in its own parag

Can you explain why you think it's an inherent flaw in the design? The way I look at it is, yes the software should keep a history of user behaviour and base its actions off that, but there must be feedback involved, either explicit or im

This whole thing sounds an awful lot like Bret Victor's “Magic Ink” paper (that's a compliment): http://worrydream.com/MagicInk If you like the ideas in the OP, you owe it to yourself to chew through Bret's paper. A lot of the same ideas,

That could happen, but really that would be a "bug", not an inherent problem with the design. That would be the developer's job to fix.

There are methods you can implement in your own classes to provide setting and getting for both the array and dictionary style syntax. If you're a Mac developer, check the forums. Else, wait for the info to be non-NDA.
