I'm glad to see some people have the balls to actually charge for a service instead of peppering me with ads. You get what you pay for. If I were looking to use a service like this, I'd be much happier investing in my time in one I pay for

Android is like a supermarket: limitless choices and combinations, but you've got to cook it yourself. iOS is like a restaurant: most of the choices are made for you, but the meal is effortless.

Are you comparing Objective-C to C# or C++? Those are two completely different beasts. I find Objective-C refreshing when compared to C++ ( take inheritance for example...in C++ I need to redeclare functions I'm overriding from my base clas

For a $1 app? It's still astounding what agonizing great lengths a customer will go through in order to decide for or against a $1-5 app purchase. A latte apparently has higher value than a piece of software you'll likely use at least a lit

I thought Apple's Objective-C runtime was open sourced.. I guess I was conflating LLVM/clang with the runtime itself.

Will they? Any reference to back that up? I don't think Apple has done this in the past, and I don't think they've said they will either.

I'm just wondering if it's actually cheaper though. iTunes Match is $24.99 per year , remember. However, iTunes Match isn't everyone's cup of tea (and odds are, not available in their country. It isn't in mine).

This is fantastic. How lovely would it be if Apple bought this up for iOS Xcode. I have a feeling some day there will be a way to write iOS apps on iOS, provided by Apple.
